Norma Foley

Norma is a paediatric Occupational Therapist with over 18 years of experience supporting children to build skills, confidence and independence. She graduated from University College Cork in 2007 and has worked across a variety of settings, including early intervention, schools, clinics and community services.
Norma has developed a strong passion and specialist experience in working with children with Down syndrome. She supports development across areas such as motor skills, sensory processing, communication, play and everyday life skills, using a child-led, playful approach tailored to each child’s unique strengths.
She works closely with families and caregivers, making therapy practical, positive and part of everyday routines. Norma also enjoys mentoring newer therapists and contributing to programmes that enhance services for children and families.
Above all, she is driven by a strong belief in each child’s potential and the joy that comes from helping them grow, learn and thrive.
