Norma Foley

Hi, I’m Norma, a pediatric occupational therapist with over 18 years of experience helping children build skills, confidence, and independence. I graduated from University College Cork (UCC) in 2007 and have worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention, schools, clinics, and community services.

Over the years, I’ve developed a strong passion and specialist experience in working with children with Down syndrome. I love supporting their development in areas like motor skills, sensory processing, communication, play, and everyday life skills. My approach is always child-led, playful, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths.

I work closely with families and caregivers, aiming to make therapy practical, positive, and part of everyday routines. I also enjoy mentoring newer therapists and contributing to programs that improve services for children and families.

Above all, I’m driven by a belief in each child’s potential and the joy that comes from helping them grow, learn, and thrive.
