Niamh Clifford

Niamh is a Speech and Language Therapist at the Down Syndrome Centre Cork. She has a keen interest in early language development, early literacy and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).

​

Her main role at the Centre involves running sing and sign groups for parents and their young children, supporting early communication in a fun and engaging way. She also runs parent and toddler groups in her local area.

Niamh is a strong believer in child-led therapy, focusing on each child’s strengths and interests to support meaningful communication development.

​

Outside of work, she is a mum to three and enjoys long walks in the fresh air and baking.
